Ambrosia foods (U) Limited was established on the 3rd/1/2011 by partners with the intention of producing natural fruit and vegetable products and provide a source of income for partners, employees and small scale farmers.
Currently the company has three established products:
▪ papaya-lime jam
▪ hot sauce and
▪ mixed fruit fresh juice
▪ plus some other products such as bean flour still under development.
The mission of this company is to, ‘To produce high quality products that meet consumer standards while taking full advantage of the fruit and vegetable sector in this country so as to fully realize the company’s profit margin.
The company objectives include; meeting the demand for organic food products on the Ugandan market, provide relatively affordable products, contribute to community health by producing safe and nutritious fruit and vegetable products and provide income and employment to the educated and uneducated youth and farmers.
